Cliff Williams Memorial Foundation Awards Teacher Grants
The Cliff Williams Memorial Foundation recently awarded LaSalle Parish teachers a total of $79,619.00 in grants for the 2011-2012 school year. Teachers representing all nine schools in the parish were awarded grants. The teachers will use these grant funds to purchase various types of technology, books, reading kits, and other instructional materials to supplement their classroom instruction.
LaSalle Parish Administrators, Teachers, and other school personnel would like to thank the Cliff Williams Memorial Foundation for their generous donations to LaSalle Parish classrooms!
Cliff Williams Memorial Foundation Grant Donation
Many LaSalle Parish Educators have received Cliff Williams Memorial Foundation Grant funds for classroom supplies, equipment, academic excellence programs, and educational trips. LaSalle Parish is fortunate to have these grants and very appreciative to Jennifer Loe and Justiss Oil Company for creating this Foundation.
In the Teachers' Locker is a letter from the Cliff Williams Memorial Foundation concerning securing donations for the Foundation. Please read the letter and, if you wish, make a tax-deductible donation, in any amount, to the Cliff Williams Memorial Foundation. Also, please forward to any of your friends and family who went through the LaSalle Parish School System or are associated with it now and ask that they make a tax-deductible donation, in any amount, as well.
As the letter states..."It is the Foundation's quest to promote quality education in LaSalle Parish."
