Louisiana Teaching Certificate Information

To update a Louisiana Teaching Certificate or an Ancillary Certificate, please do the following

1. Go to the Louisiana Department of Education's Certification Update Packet (Click here).
2. Read the instructions explaining the requirements for your specific request.
3. Print and complete all required forms.
4. Take or send originals and a check or money order to Robyn Smith at the Central Office.  The forms will be signed and mailed to the Department of Education.

The Department of Education no longer mails out paper copies of certificates unless they are requested.  There is an added fee for this service.

After the Update Packet is sent, check www.teachlouisiana.net for updates to your certificate.
