Parental Involvement Presentation
A Parental Involvement Presentation, "Together We Can Be BULLY Free--A Mini-Guide for Parents," was held at the LaSalle Parish Media Center on Friday, September 20, 2013. Thirty five people were in attendance for the presentation and lunch. Jenny Parker, LaSalle Parish Sheriff's Office DARE Officer, gave a 20-minute informative presentation on bullying and cyberbullying. The event was coordinated by Debbie McCartney, LaSalle Parish Parental Involvement Coordinator, and Barbara Elmore, LaSalle Parish Title I Director. Others assisting with the event were Missy Bignar and D'Juana Stapleton.
New Jena Elementary School
