INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBSTITUTE EMPLOYEE APPLICANTS

The LaSalle Parish School Board requirements for each substitute employee:

  1. Applications will be available each Tuesday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. only. At this time, applications may be picked up and complete application packets may be returned. Incomplete packets will not be accepted.
  2. Provide a copy of your high school diploma, transcript, certificate, and, if applicable, verification of college hours or your university transcript(s). A copy of your driver's license and social security card are also required.
  3. Upon return of the complete packet, applicants will be scheduled for background checks at the LaSalle Parish Sheriff's Office, where you will be required to pay $15.
  4. Once the background results are returned to the School Board Office, you will be added to the substitute list and the school(s) at which you would like to sub will be notified.

Janitors and Bus Drivers Needed

LaSalle Parish needs janitors and bus drivers immediately.

Applications may be printed from the website or picked up at the School Board Office and submitted with required documents.
