Student Driving Privileges
STUDENT DRIVING PRIVILEGES
State Law provides for the notification to the Office of Motor Vehicles by School officials of the suspension of driving privileges of a student who is:
- Expelled or suspended from school or an assignment to an alternative educational setting for ten or more consecutive school days for committing certain infractions or,
- withdraws from school under certain circumstances or,
- fails of refuses to comply with mandatory school attendance or,
- is a dropout or is habitually absent or tardy from school. (Refer to LaSalle Parish Attendance Regulations for definition of habitual).
